Privacy Policy

Who we are

What we collect

What you send us. If you email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive whatever you choose to include: usually a name, a contact detail, and a description of your project. We keep that correspondence so we can answer it and, if we work together, deliver the work.

What the site records automatically. This site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel's edge network logs technical request data: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the time of the request, and the referring page. These logs exist for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing faults. We do not use them to build a profile of you.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and there is no cross-site tracking to consent to. If we later add analytics, we will use a cookieless, aggregate-only tool and say so here before it goes live.

Who else handles your data

We keep the list of third parties as short as we can. At present it is:

• Vercel Inc. — hosting, domain management and content delivery. Servers are located outside Zimbabwe, primarily in the United States and the European Union.
• Google Fonts — typefaces on this site are requested from Google's servers, so your IP address is visible to Google when a font loads.
• WhatsApp (Meta) — only if you choose to message us there. That conversation is governed by WhatsApp's own terms as well as this policy.
• Our email provider — stores correspondence sent to hello@studiobysable.com.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for marketing.

Where your data goes

Because the site is hosted and served internationally, request data leaves Zimbabwe. Where information relating to people in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom is transferred, our providers rely on standard contractual clauses to do so lawfully.

How long we keep it

Host request logs are short-lived and controlled by Vercel's own retention schedule. Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within twelve months. Project correspondence and records are kept while we are working together and for a reasonable period afterwards, to meet tax and accounting obligations.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@studiobysable.com and we will respond within thirty days. Under Zimbabwe's Data Protection Act, and under the GDPR where it applies to you, you may also complain to the relevant supervisory authority.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Anything material will be described here rather than quietly amended.
