Using this site

Everything on studiobysable.com — the writing, the design, the code and the imagery — belongs to Sable unless credited otherwise. You are welcome to read it, quote it with attribution, and link to it. You may not copy the site wholesale or present it as your own work.

Quotes and pricing

Prices shown on this site are starting points, not quotes. Landing pages start from $1,500 and larger sites from $3,000. Once we have discussed scope you get a fixed quote in writing, valid for thirty days. That number does not move once work begins. If you later ask for something outside the agreed scope, we will quote it separately before doing it.

All prices are in United States dollars. Any rand figure shown is a convenience conversion at the prevailing rate, not a fixed price.

Payment

Projects run on a deposit and a balance: half to book the work and start, half on completion before the site goes live on your domain. The deposit reserves studio time and is non-refundable once work has started. Invoices are due within seven days.

Timelines

Roughly a week for a landing page, two to three weeks for a business site, four to six weeks for a larger professional site. Those estimates assume content, images and feedback arrive when agreed. Delays on your side move the delivery date by at least the same amount.

Revisions

Every project includes two rounds of revisions at the design stage and one after build. A round means one consolidated set of feedback. Further changes, or a change of direction after a design has been approved, are quoted as additional work.

What you own

On final payment, the finished website, its code and its design are yours. The domain and hosting are registered in your name from the start, so you can move to another developer at any time without asking us. We keep the right to show the work in our portfolio and to reuse underlying techniques and components, which are not exclusive to any one client.

Your content

You are responsible for the text, images and logos you give us, including having the right to use them. Stock imagery or fonts we license on your behalf are billed at cost and named in the quote.

Third-party services

Sites are hosted on Vercel and may use other third-party services such as domain registrars, email providers or analytics. Those services have their own terms and their own uptime. We choose them carefully but we cannot be held responsible for an outage or a change of policy on a platform we do not control.

After launch

Every project includes a thirty-day support window after handover: if something we built breaks, we fix it at no charge. New features, new content and ongoing care are available monthly. We cannot guarantee search rankings or placement in AI answers — those are decided by Google and by the assistants, not by us. What we guarantee is that the site is built correctly for them.

Cancellation

Either of us can end a project in writing. You pay for the work completed up to that point; anything already paid beyond that is refunded. The deposit is not refundable once work has started.

Liability

Our liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost revenue or lost data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, and the courts of Zimbabwe have jurisdiction. If something goes wrong, talk to us first — most things are solved with a conversation. Reach us at hello@studiobysable.com.
